School Nurse
Mrs. Posch comes to Sequoia after working as a Nurse Para/School Nurse at Lenape High School for a couple of years. Before Lenape High School, she was a school nurse at Mercer County Technical School. Mrs. Posch also has 16+ years of experience at Princeton Healthcare system, where she was a NICU nurse.
Mrs. Posch will provide urgent and routine medical care to our students. Students will receive an annual health screening, measuring their height, weight, and blood pressure. Should an abnormal finding be discovered, Mrs. Posch will recommend that your son or daughter receive a follow-up exam with their primary care physician or pediatrician. Other “grade appropriate” testing in school includes screening students' hearing and vision and examining their backs for evidence of scoliosis (curvature of the spine).
If your student needs medication during the school day, you must download the medication forms from the district website and follow the policy and procedure as described.
If your student has an acute or chronic medical condition, please call (609-268-3700 ext. 370700) or email (kposch@lrhsd.org) Mrs. Posch to discuss your son or daughter’s healthcare needs while in school. Please note that Mrs. Posch's office fax number is 856-983-5143.
Mrs. Posch welcomes your feedback concerning any medical issues involving your son or daughter that can improve the quality of care rendered in the alternative high school setting.
